Northhort Ltd have been awarded the contract for Manor Point Business Park, Holmes Chapel

We are thrilled to have secured the grounds maintenance contract for Manor Point business park in Holmes Chapel.

Spanning over 23,000m2 and still expanding into phase 2, we have infused the retail park with our hallmark of quality and excellence, enhancing its outdoor areas.

Featuring a variety of mixed borders with Lavandula ang. 'Hidcote' Viburnum davidii, and the beautiful Prunus lusitanica and Betula pendula lining the boundaries, we are pleased to contribute our expertise to ensure these outdoor spaces are not only maintained but also enhanced with our horticultural knowledge.

A remarkable feature of this site is the 1,150m2 wildflower swale, which we absolutely adore! Serving as a natural runoff point for the area, it provides an incredible natural sanctuary for wildlife in this urban retail park, fostering a rich biodiversity.

We conduct biannual cuts here and allow the seeds to self-propagate before collecting. Encircling the fenceline is a Fagus sylvatica hedge, which serves as both a habitat and a boundary, encouraging nesting birds—a delightful sight.

At the front entrance, you'll find two meticulously maintained lawns, along with a raised sleeper bed featuring seasonal bedding for both summer and winter, adding bursts of colour throughout the year.
